Profile Images: When you upload a profile picture to transform into a fan portrait, we temporarily process your image through Google's Gemini AI service.

Generated Content: The AI-generated images and associated prompts you create and optionally save.

Technical Data: Your IP address for rate limiting and abuse prevention (automatically deleted after 24 hours).

Usage Data: Team selections, details you enter, and basic usage statistics.

2. How We Use Your Information

Image Generation: Your uploaded photo and prompts are sent to Google Gemini AI to create your fan portrait
Content Storage: Only images you explicitly save are stored in our secure database (Aiven PostgreSQL)
Rate Limiting: IP addresses are tracked to prevent abuse (5 generations per hour per IP)
Content Filtering: Automated filtering to ensure family-friendly, appropriate content
Service Improvement: Aggregate usage statistics to improve the service

3. Data Sharing

Google Gemini AI: Your uploaded images and prompts are sent to Google's Gemini API for AI generation. Google's privacy policy applies to this processing.

Aiven Database: Saved images and prompts are stored in our secure Aiven PostgreSQL database hosted in the cloud.

Vercel Hosting: Our app is hosted on Vercel, which may have access to technical logs.

No Selling: We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention

Temporary Processing: Uploaded images are only held in memory during generation and not permanently stored unless you save them
Saved Images: Images you explicitly save are stored indefinitely unless you request deletion
IP Addresses: Rate limiting data is automatically purged after 24 hours
Logs: Technical logs are retained for 30 days for debugging and security purposes

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Request access to your saved data
Request deletion of your saved images and data
Opt out of data processing by not using the service
Contact us about privacy concerns

6. Security

We implement appropriate security measures including rate limiting, content filtering, secure database storage, and encrypted data transmission. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure, and you upload images at your own risk.

This service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

8. International Users

This service is operated from the United States. If you are accessing from outside the US, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States where data protection laws may be different from your country.
